Sunken Lands Cultural Roadway   Explore the rich delta history along the Sunken Lands Cultural Roadway.  Named for the area that sank after the New Madrid Earthquakes in 1811-1812, this loop off of the Great River Road will take you to historical treasures throughout Northeast Arkansas.   

Marked Tree Delta Area Museum Behind a late 1800s general store facade, this museum has a replica of a small-town community hospital and an early history gallery that includes Indian pottery from the 13th century and telephone exhibits from the early 1900s. 308 Frisco Street, Marked Tree, AR 72365. Whitton Farms Whitton farms is a small, organically-inspired, specialty crop farm in the Arkansas Delta. The farm is loved, cultivated, & adored by owners Keith & Jill Forrester. Both Keith & Jill Forrester are former public school teachers turned farmers! The farmland has been in the Forrester family for almost 100 years. although the foundation of the farm was built on raising cotton, Keith & Jill are working to turn their soil into a lush, fresh-food mecca. Today, the Forrester’s farm today is raised on retired pasture land where Keith’s Grandfather Jess allowed his many horses to graze for 50 years or more.
