Contact Linda Hinton, Office Manager, to schedule school and group tours of the museum or to answer your questions regarding the museum.  Linda is a former business education teacher and will work with educational groups to arrange special programs.

Dr. Ruth Hawkins, Director

Ruth is Director of Arkansas Heritage SITES at Arkansas State University, which includes overall responsibilities for policies and programs at the Southern Tenant Farmers Museum, Lakeport Plantation in Lake Village, and the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center at Piggott. Ruth also is Executive Director of Arkansas Delta Byways, a 15-county tourism promotion association that promotes Eastern Arkansas and its two national scenic byways: Crowley's Ridge Parkway and the Arkansas Great River Road.

 

Paula Miles, Program Coordinator
Paula provides administrative coordination and oversight for the Southern Tenant Farmers Museum and the Lakeport Plantation in Lake Village. She also is Executive Secretary for Arkansas Delta Byways, the 15-county tourism promotion association serving Eastern Arkansas. Her responsibilities include serving as office manager, coordinating special events, and providing staff support for ongoing activities in the Delta region and along the Crowley's Ridge Parkway and the Arkansas Great River Road national scenic byways.

 

Cindy Grisham, Graduate Assistant

Cindy is in the ASU Heritage Studies Ph.D. program and is working  with the City of Tyronza and surrounding communities to develop strategies for utilizing the museum as an economic catalyst for the region.

 

Albert Jones, Graduate Assistant

Albert is in the ASU Heritage Studies Ph.D. program and is working on marketing programs, financial strategies, and plans for long-term sustainability of the museum.
